Volunteer with the Lowell Association for the Blind

Lowell Association for the Blind (LAB) always looking for volunteers to assist the blind and visually impaired adult clients. On Tuesdays and Thursdays the adult group meets here at LAB for programming. This is such an important program for our clients due to the fact that many of them live alone and for them to have interaction with others is so key for their overall health and wellness.

There are different activities during the month that we provide free to our clients. There are times that they stay here at the office and other times they go with the adult coordinator and volunteers to an outside activity. Some of these activities are: shopping, lunch, apple picking, bowling and birding by ear to name a few.

If you or someone you know would be interested in volunteering please contact Josh Stachowski our Adult Coordinator at 978-454-5704 or labinfor@lowellassociationfortheblind.org
