Is my profile information in two different places on the site?
A: Yes. We have software called “Chambermaster” that is the home of your official business listing as a Chamber Member. This is what is shown in the “Member List” section of the site. You can login here separately to maintain your member-listing: http://business.greaterlowellcc.org/login/.
In order to make it possible to do News updates in an efficient way, a different part of our website maintains a profile for “authors”, which is where you save your information, and some information about your business that appears next to your articles.
How can I change my public display name (Represented by…) on the website?
A: Under the Name section of your profile page add your first and last name to the First name and Last name fields, add any nickname that you would like to the Nickname field, and click the Update Profile button at the bottom of the page. When the page reloads, you will be able to select any of the names that you entered as well as your username from the dropdown menu labeled Display name publicly as.
I just uploaded my profile picture, why can’t I see it?
A: After your profile picture is uploaded it must be approved by a site administrator before it can be seen on the website. Please email support@greaterlowellchamber.org with the subject “Profile Pic Approval Request” and the subject sharing your username.
I just submitted a news article, why I can’t see it?
A: All news articles are reviewed by an administrator before they are published to the site. Please allow some time for us to review and approve your post. If your post was made over 24 hours ago and is still not appearing, please contact us and let us know.
How can I edit or delete a news post?
A: Once an article has been submitted for approval you will not be able to access it. If you need to remove or edit a post that you have made please email support@greaterlowellchamber.org and we will take care of it for you.
Can I link to my articles from my Member listing page?
A: Unfortunately the ChamberMaster section, described in the first answer, provides no way for us to do this. Site visitors will have to navigate independently to the Member News page to see your News Articles
