Bridget Cooley
&
Alana Griggs
Bridget Cooley, Director of the Pollard Memorial Library, has expanded and improved programming and services to meet the emerging needs of Lowell’s diverse community and to ensure that the Library remains a vital hub of lifelong learning.
Alana Griggs' leadership of UMass Lowell's "Food Forest" initiative exemplifies Dr. Mogan's vision of a "classroom without walls” by transforming shared urban green space into a living laboratory for the entire Lowell community. She is a Mechanical Engineering Ph.D. candidate in the BUREK Lab at UMass Lowell.
The awards will be presented on Monday October 20th (refreshments at 5:00 PM followed by a program from 5:30 to 7:00 PM) at the Richard & Nancy Donahue Family Academic Arts Center at Middlesex Community College. Please RSVP by email to lowellcityoflearning2019@gmail.com.
