In 2017, the Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce began awarding a Member of the Year Award to a business or organization who has demonstrated some or all of the following:
- Commitment to the community
- Achievement in their field or industry
- Innovative practices
- Strong leadership
- Economic impact
GLCC members and the Greater Lowell community are given the opportunity to nominate a member and a selection committee selects the Member of the Year!
- 2017: Dracut House of Pizza, Trinity EMS
- 2018: Nonprofit Community – Greater Lowell Health Alliance, UTEC, Lowell Community Health Center, Mill City Grows
- 2019: Merrimack Valley Food Bank, Lowell Memorial Auditorium
