Meet this year’s Recipients

Christopher Dias, Enterprise Bank

Christopher Dias serves as a Senior Cash Management Advisor, SVP, at Enterprise Bank, where he brings over a decade of banking and financial services experience. After working in a manufacturing environment for several years, Chris began his career in banking in 2010 at TD Bank, quickly advancing from Teller to Head Teller. He later joined the Enterprise Bank Family in 2013 as Branch Service Manager in Billerica and was promoted two years later to Branch Relationship Manager in Tyngsboro.

With a strong passion for helping clients improve operational efficiency, Chris transitioned into his current role, where he oversees a portfolio of cash management clients and develops new business relationships throughout Greater Lowell, Nashoba Valley, and North Central areas. He works closely with businesses to streamline their treasury operations, delivering tailored solutions that support growth and financial success.

Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Southern New Hampshire University. He is also a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), accredited by the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP). In addition, he is an active member of the New England Association for Financial Professionals and the Massachusetts Collectors and Treasurers Association.

A dedicated community member, Chris currently serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Cambodian Mutual Assistance Association and is a member of the Rotary Club of Tyngsboro/Dunstable. He also spent five years as a youth travel basketball coach in Tyngsboro.

Originally from Lawrence, MA, and raised in Derry, NH, Chris now resides in Pelham, NH, with his supportive and loving wife Ashley, their amazing daughter Savannah, and their sidekick dog Rocko. He credits his father, Gabriel, his brother, Patrick, and his mother, Filomena, as lasting influences and role models who instilled in him the values of kindness, respect, and service to others.

Chris Wilcox, Lowell Five Bank

Chris Wilcox began his career in the banking industry in 2010, driven by a desire to help individuals and businesses succeed. In 2016, he joined Lowell Five Bank as a Senior Credit Analyst, where he quickly developed a reputation for diligence, strategic thinking, and a collaborative approach. By September of 2017, he transition into the role of a Commercial Loan Officer, building strong client relationships and contributing to the bank’s growth. His leadership and performance have earned him several promotions, including Vice President in 2021 and Senior Vice President in 2023 – a reflection of both his professional expertise and passion for the work. Chris truly looks forward to helping local businesses achieve their goals, assisting in funding the growth of local businesses throughout Greater Lowell.

Outside of the office, Chris is committed to giving back to the community. He serves on the Board of Directors for The Front Door Agency in Nashua, where he has held several leadership roles including Chair of the Development Committee, Vice President and President of the Board. Chris lives in Nashua with his wife, Laura, and their two daughters. When he’s not working or volunteering, he enjoys golfing, watching the Patriots, and spending time with his family. For Chris, both his professional and personal life are centered around building strong relationships and making a positive impact wherever he can.

Hunter Berube, MassHire Greater Lowell Workforce Board

Hunter Berube is a dedicated Grant Management and Program Specialist at MassHire Greater Lowell Workforce Board, where he helps secure multimillion-dollar grants to support workforce development initiatives that strengthen the Greater Lowell community. He also serves as a Communications Specialist for the City of Lowell.As Festival Director and Producer for Imag9ne Media, Hunter oversees impactful film projects, including co-directing Lowell’s DARE to IMAG9NE International Short Film Festival. Hunter recently executive produced and premiered the short documentary Mayor of Lowell, which chronicles the journey of the first Cambodian American Mayor in the United States, former-Mayor of Lowell Sokhary Chau. His other film projects include a documentary on Roxbury and a web-series titled “The Lowell Life” premiering this summer.Hunter’s an entertainment reporter for Dirty Water Media on NESN and was recently named one of Suffolk University’s 10 under 10 Honorees, which recognizes young alumni who, within 10 years of graduating, are making major contributions in their field and in the community.In addition to his professional accomplishments, Hunter volunteers for organizations like Lowell Sun Charities and helped bring the National Golden Gloves Championship to Lowell in 2027. Hunter’s multifaceted career and volunteer work exemplify his passion for strengthening community ties through media, communications, and workforce development, making him a valued leader and advocate in the Greater Lowell area.

Katelyn Mello, House of Hope

Katelyn Mello is the Director of Client Services at House of Hope, where she has been a committed advocate since 2017. She began as a Behavioral Health Specialist and stepped into her current leadership role in early 2023. Katelyn now oversees a dedicated team of case managers, housing advocates, and client support specialists, working together to support families navigating homelessness with dignity and care.

Before joining House of Hope, Katelyn spent over five years as an Adoption Social Worker for a contract agency with the Department of Children and Families (DCF), supporting children and families through pivotal transitions. A proud Lowell native, she attended Franco American Elementary and Lowell High School’s Latin Lyceum program before earning her bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts (Major in Sociology, Minors in Psychology and Gender Studies) from UMass Lowell and a Master’s in Social Work from Salem State University in 2011. She holds her LICSW and School Adjustment Counselor License, reflecting a deep commitment to clinical excellence and advocacy.

Katelyn currently lives about 25 minutes outside of Lowell with her 15-year-old twin daughters, Abby and Olivia, and their handsome puppy, Clark. Of all her accomplishments, she is most proud of the smart, energetic, and caring team she has built at House of Hope—professionals who bring their whole hearts to the work every single day.

Katerynne Patino, Project LEARN

Katerynne Patino is a proud Lowell High School alumna, devoted mother, and community-driven professional committed to creating pathways of opportunity for Lowell’s youth and families. Born in Medellín, Colombia, Katerynne immigrated to Lowell as a teenager and quickly formed a deep connection with the city that has remained her lifelong home and source of inspiration.

She began her career in finance before discovering her passion for education and family advocacy, first serving as a Parent Liaison in Lowell Public Schools and later as the Districtwide Spanish Bilingual Family Liaison. In these roles, she helped connect newcomer families with the tools they need to thrive and build stronger bridges between schools and the community. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Katerynne is a certified educational translator and interpreter, using language as a tool for equity and access.

Currently serving as the Director of Operations at Project LEARN, Katerynne manages the day-to-day functions that power educational programs and career exploration initiatives throughout Lowell Public Schools. Her operational leadership ensures that Lowell students can access enriching experiences that align their passions with real-world opportunities.

Katerynne is an active member of the Lowell Colombian Committee and contributes to several local task forces and advisory councils focused on equity, education, and family engagement. She brings her experiences as an immigrant and her deep commitment to the Lowell community to everything she does.

Kayla Caron, Middlesex Community College

Kayla Caron stands out as a dedicated leader at Middlesex Community College, where she skillfully balances her roles as the Registrar and a recent temporary appointment as Interim Dean of Enrollment, and an educator in the Public Health Informatics Program. This dedication underscores her commitment to advancing public health education and policy advocacy among her students. With a knack for optimizing processes, Kayla’s project and change management capabilities have become instrumental in ensuring that students receive the resources and support they need to thrive. Her journey at Middlesex began just before the COVID-19 pandemic, a time when building connections was especially challenging; however, her resilience and creativity enabled her to cultivate meaningful relationships with students and her team through remote initiatives.
Kayla is deeply invested in promoting equity and belonging within the college community. She has become an influential voice at various regional and national conferences, where she shares her insights on the importance of creating inclusive environments for all students. Her research-driven approach to understanding student climate has been transformative, leading to actionable changes that prioritize respect and belonging on campus. As a working mother herself, Kayla is passionate about empowering other women, leading her to establish the Middlesex Community College Working Moms affinity group. This group has quickly become a thriving community of over 40 members, fostering a supportive network that underscores the significance of collaboration and understanding among women in the workplace. Through her dedication and compassion, Kayla Caron continues to inspire those around her to dream bigger and work together to create a brighter future.

Levi Dennis – Lowell Youth Leadership Program & Lowell Public Schools/Community Connections

Levi Dennis is a proud Lowell native, dedicated community activist, and passionate youth advocate. He is the founder and director of Community Connections, a nonprofit organization committed to strengthening community ties and empowering young people through grassroots programming, cultural celebration, and hands-on mentorship.

With a vibrant youth team of over 20 members, Levi leads high-impact initiatives like an annual 3-on-3 basketball tournament at Gage Park—which earned his team the Community Transformation Award—and volunteers at events across the city to support cultural pride and unity.

For more than seven years, Levi has hosted a citywide Thanksgiving turkey drive, distributing over 400 turkeys annually to families in need. He also coordinates the Lowell Youth Leadership Program and has served at Robinson Middle School for five years, where he continues to support students both in and out of the classroom. At Robinson, he plays a key role in organizing the annual Multicultural Showcase, where students perform music, dance, and celebrate their cultures in a powerful display of youth expression and school spirit.

Known for his high energy, positive spirit, and hands-on leadership, Levi also coaches AAU basketball and uses music, sports, and mentorship as tools to guide young people toward success.

A lifelong Disney and Mariah Carey fan, Levi brings both heart and high notes into everything he does—reminding young people, like Simba, that no matter where they come from or what they’ve faced, they have the strength to rise, lead with pride, and take their place in the world.

Whether he’s mentoring teens, organizing events, or cheering on a student performance, Levi infuses everything he touches with imagination, joy, and deep love for his community. He believes true transformation starts with youth—and that young people don’t have to wait to be leaders, artists, or changemakers. Through deep collaboration with schools, grassroots leaders, and local organizations, Levi continues to build bridges and shape a brighter future—one young person at a time.

Lindsay Davis, Davis Pelvic Health

Lindsay Davis is a Physical Therapist and Board-Certified Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner. She is the owner of Davis Pelvic Health, a private clinic in Westford, MA, specializing in the treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction.

Lindsay discovered her passion for pelvic health while working at Lowell General Hospital, where she developed and led the hospital’s first pelvic floor therapy program. She later brought her expertise to Nashoba Valley Medical Center, establishing a second successful program. With over 11 years of experience in pelvic health, Lindsay has helped countless women and men regain quality of life through individualized care rooted in manual therapy, specialized exercise, and patient education. She offers compassionate and evidence-based care that fills a critical gap in traditional healthcare.

A graduate of Husson University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, Lindsay recently became a Certified Perimenopause-Menopause Coach through the Integrative Women’s Health Institute, allowing her to better support midlife women navigating hormonal transitions.

Beyond the clinic, Lindsay is a passionate community educator, regularly volunteering her time to lead workshops on pelvic health and the physical changes of perimenopause and menopause. She is an active volunteer in her town of Shirley, MA, where she lives with her husband and two sons. She has been coaching youth basketball, baseball, and leading after-school programs for the past 5 years.

Luz Viviana Acevedo, Panela Restaurant

Luz Viviana Acevedo is the executive chef and owner of Panela Restaurant, a vibrant culinary destination that celebrates the rich flavors and culture of Colombia. Born in Medellin and raised in the United States, Luz pursued her education at Le Cordon Bleu and has since dedicated her career to elevating Colombian cuisine. Since opening Panela with her family, she has become a beloved community leader in Lowell, mentoring others, supporting local initiatives, and proudly sharing her heritage through food.)

Rachel da Silva,  Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union

Rachel da Silva is a seasoned Cybersecurity Officer at Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union. With a focus on threat mitigation and improving security strategies, Rachel started her career in 2017 as a Technical Support Technician. With the experience in managing risk assessments while operating with cross-functional teams, Rachel has assisted with the implementation of proactive defense parameters while bringing together the appropriate technical expertise to stay a step ahead of threats.

Rachel’s strong foundation in both technical and strategic leadership comes not only from work experience, but also from her education. She holds a Bachelor of Science (class of 2017) and a Master of Business Administration (class of 2023) from Framingham State University. She has also used her acquired industry certifications in both Cybersecurity and Project Management as a tool to troubleshoot problems with analytical thinking. This allows her to plan on the appropriate security measures to meet compliance, while taking into consideration end users’ experiences.

Outside of her work, Rachel lives in Haverhill with her husband, two children, and three dogs. She gives back to the community through her passion for art. In her free time, she paints with acrylics and oils while also volunteering as a board member of the Greater Haverhill Arts Association, where her creative endeavors allow her to help local artists promote their work by providing exposure and assistance through workshops and artist demonstrations.

Tinson Lam, Lowell Philharmonic Orchestra

Tinson Lam, a proud Lowell native, is a dedicated music educator, professional musician, and arts administrator. He currently serves as the Executive Director and President of the Lowell Philharmonic Orchestra, while also shaping the next generation of musicians as a music teacher in the Lowell Public Schools. In addition to his work in schools and on stage, Tinson offers private voice, violin, and viola lessons to emerging artists in the community.
Tinson’s journey with the Lowell Philharmonic Orchestra began in 2019 as a musician. He quickly stepped into leadership, serving as School Outreach Director in 2020. In January 2024, he was appointed President, where he led initiatives such as organizing and supporting committees, collaborating with the Music Director, developing a membership drive, and securing critical funding. In 2025, his role expanded to include Executive Director, formalizing his oversight of the orchestra’s strategic direction, community engagement, and operational management—ensuring its continued growth and cultural relevance in the region.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Asbury University and a Master of Science in Performing Arts Leadership and Management from Shenandoah University. In 2022, his work in arts integration earned him top honors at the Shenandoah University Research Expo. With a strong foundation in music education, Tinson remains committed to fostering accessibility, appreciation, and opportunity for musicians across Greater Lowell.
