Part Time Warehouse Assistant/ Driver

The Merrimack Valley Food Bank is an independent, non-profit organization with a mission to provide adequate nutrition and freedom from hunger. We seek an organized, courteous, bright individual with a heart for our mission, to help us distribute food to our neighbors.

Summary: 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday Noon – 4:00pm Occasional evenings and weekends

• Pick up and deliver food donations in a box truck with air brakes
• Maintain and clean warehouse
• Receive, distribute and rotate stock
• Interface with member agencies, volunteers and donors

Requirements:

• Must have valid MA license and good driving record
• Must Pass DOT physical exam
• Ability to lift 50lbs and stand for 30 minutes at a time
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Electric fork truck and pallet jack experience is a plus
