In 2024, Lowell experienced significant changes—closures and relocations of arts and cultural organizations, challenges faced by businesses and immigrants, and ongoing heartbreak of homelessness and sustainability issues. These developments highlight the importance of coming together to address these pressing topics and create a brighter future for our city.

In addition, there are so many people working hard to keep Lowell vibrant, maintain and grow businesses, and help people in need. It's critical to connect with them and make sure we're doing all we can to support one another.

Our first meeting is scheduled for Thursday, January 23, 6:00 pm, at LTC (246 Market St., Lowell, MA). We plan to start with a brief introduction, followed by facilitated discussions where you can share your concerns, brainstorm ideas related to your hopes and opportunities, and delve deeper into key initiatives. Food will be served, child-friendly activities will be available, and please notify us if you need interpretation or accessibility accommodations.
