POSITION SUMMARY
The Social Media Specialist is responsible for Lowell Five Bank’s presence on multiple social media
channels, digital marketing efforts and digital properties. This position will oversee the brand
positioning on social media, a robust calendar of social media content and complementary paid digital
marketing efforts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media Planning
• Create and maintain an annual calendar, develop and implement organic social media content via
real-time posting and advanced scheduling
• Curate and manage online social platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn,
YouTube, and online review sites (Google, Yelp, Glassdoor, Indeed, etc.)
• Perform competitive research to ensure our content is compelling and unique
Content Development
• Lead content development for social media, both paid and organic
• Utilize department tools for photography and videography as needed for capturing high quality
social content
• Collaborate with videographer to create ongoing content that is tied to business growth goals
• Work with graphic designer to create social media campaign assets
Execution and Implementation
• Manage the posting of content daily, weekly and in advance to ensure we have relevant, brand
appropriate content
• Coordinate requests and content from across the Bank, provide guidance on what type of content
should be captured and shared via social/digital channels• Facilitate the review and approval process with stakeholders including Marketing and Compliance
teams
• Work with media agency on paid social media campaigns
• Create and manage landing pages for lead capture via paid social media campaigns
Measurement
• Pull reports in Google Analytics as needed
• Make recommendations for the best tools for both monitoring and posting content
• Create and share weekly, monthly, quarterly social media reports with insightful analytics, make
recommendations for future content improvements that will elevate the perception of the Bank and
grow awareness with existing and new audiences
• Collaborate with Business Intelligence on reporting and follow through of lead generation activities
via paid social media
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications or marketing
• 2-4 years of related marketing experience
• Up to date with social media and digital marketing best practices and emerging trends
• Understanding of and foundation in marketing and social media analytics
• Proficient in all social media platforms, working knowledge of Meta and Google Analytics
• Effective writer, including brand tone and manner, proper grammar
• Strong organizational, project management and analytical skills
• Capable of working independently and solving problems
• Detail-oriented with ability to communicate professionally, both in writing and verbally
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt to a changing environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• General knowledge of banking products and services and compliance regulations related to
marketing activities would be a plus.
