Credit Clerk (Full Time): Lowell Five


The Credit Clerk performs various day-to-day administrative functions to support the Commercial Credit Department; provides timely and accurate support to the Commercial Lending group as well as internal and external clients.

  • Monitors emails to ensure timely processing of commercial credit information for new and existing borrowers
  • Reviews new commercial loan reports, creates financial and other loan document tracking, and refiles financial data electronically
  • Creates credit files for all new clients in electronic filing system
  • Monitors various reports and documentation (e.g., Accounts Receivable Aging, Inventory Listings,and/or Borrowing Base Certificates), imports electronic files to Synergy, and updates appropriatetracking in credit software
  • Prepares and distributes all request letters through electronic or traditional formats
  • Prepares client relationship summary reports for Commercial Loan Officers and/or to supportloan approvals
  • Creates monthly and quarterly Credit Department reporting for distribution to Senior Management
  • Fields incoming calls to the department, addressing initial client inquiries
  • Backs up the Appraisal Specialist as needed
  • Prepares credit references as requestedREQUIREMENTS
    • At least one year of banking experience preferred, including knowledge of Fiserv DNA System
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and most importantly Excel
    • Willingness and aptitude to learn new systems as required to support Bank growth and expansion of services
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships; team player with exceptional customer-service skills
  • Excellent organization skills, with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
