POSITION SUMMARY
The Credit Clerk performs various day-to-day administrative functions to support the Commercial Credit Department; provides timely and accurate support to the Commercial Lending group as well as internal and external clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitors emails to ensure timely processing of commercial credit information for new and existing borrowers
- Reviews new commercial loan reports, creates financial and other loan document tracking, and refiles financial data electronically
- Creates credit files for all new clients in electronic filing system
- Monitors various reports and documentation (e.g., Accounts Receivable Aging, Inventory Listings,and/or Borrowing Base Certificates), imports electronic files to Synergy, and updates appropriatetracking in credit software
- Prepares and distributes all request letters through electronic or traditional formats
- Prepares client relationship summary reports for Commercial Loan Officers and/or to supportloan approvals
- Creates monthly and quarterly Credit Department reporting for distribution to Senior Management
- Fields incoming calls to the department, addressing initial client inquiries
- Backs up the Appraisal Specialist as needed
- Prepares credit references as requestedREQUIREMENTS
- At least one year of banking experience preferred, including knowledge of Fiserv DNA System
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and most importantly Excel
- Willingness and aptitude to learn new systems as required to support Bank growth and expansion of services
- Ability to build and maintain relationships; team player with exceptional customer-service skills
- Excellent organization skills, with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
