Mini-Adirondack Chair Building class (Adults)

***This class takes place every Wednesday night from March 4th – March 25th***

Instructor Christopher Golden, is a 1991 Nashoba Tech graduate of the Carpentry program earning top honors in the program. He holds his Massachusetts Construction Supervisors License and OSHA-10 certification. As a retired First Sergeant of the United States Army, he earned numerous medals. Among his many professional duties, he served as a Construction Quality Assurance Inspector, Facilities Engineer, and Engineering Supervisor. He retired from the Army in 2014 and is currently the Facilities Maintenance Manager at UMASS Lowell for the Carpentry, Paint, and Lock Shop where he maintains 5 million Sq. Ft. and 60+ buildings.

Carpentry- Mini-Adirondack Chair Building is a hands-on class! In this class, students will utilize power tools and hand tools common in the Carpentry field. The goal of the class is tool familiarization and tool safety needed to build your own take-home mini-Adirondack chair. Safety Equipment: Work boots/closed toe shoes and long pants are required. Safety glasses and ear protection will be supplied (for on-site use).
