Community Conversation with Sanam Naraghi-Anderlini – A Program of the UMass Lowell Peace and Conflict Studies Institute

Greeley 2016 Poster-page-0Please join us for a Q&A with Sanam Naraghi-Anderlini, who will discuss her nearly two decades as an international advocate, researcher, trainer and writer on conflict prevention and peace-building.  Co-founder and executive director of the International Civil Society Action Network. She has worked extensively with the United Nations, training governments and NGOs worldwide in peacemaking. From 2002 to 2005, Anderlini was director of the Women Waging Peace Policy Commission, where she directed field research on women’s contributions to conflict prevention, security and peacemaking in 12 countries. Since 2005, she has also provided strategic guidance and training to key UN agencies, the UK government and NGOs, leading a UNFPA/UNDP needs assessment into Maoist cantonment sites in Nepal.
