Being Transgender: A Conversation with Kelly Jenkins
September 30, 2018
Kelly Jenkins is a Wellesley Middle School teaching assistant, a fierce advocate for youth, a host and producer of “Kelly’s Quest” on Acton TV, and she has been featured on NPR. She will share her personal stories to help us toward a broader understanding of the word “transgender” and the issues surrounding it. Kelly and her life story will help us understand why keeping the Massachusetts Transgender Anti-Discrimination Law in place by voting “Yes on 3” matters. All are welcome at this free event. Congregation Shalom is an open door community. ”Blessed is Humankind for they were made in the Image of God” (Pirkei Avot 3:14). RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org is appreciated but not required.
