Cybercrime is in the news just about every day! No matter how much you do "right" to help avoid cybercrime, you may still wind up being a victim. Cyber Insurance is a critical part of any cybersecurity plan. With cyber risk, you can accept the risk, mitigate the risk, avoid the risk, and with cyber insurance, transfer (some of) the risk. Years ago, when cyber insurance was a new offering, it was very easy to get coverage. Now, it's a lot more challenging, and many companies are either rejected or wind up with exorbitant prices. In some cases, incidents wind up not being covered, or require up front payments for later reimbursements. Understanding the details of this is critical for your business.
