The six week show opened Friday, April 27 and continues through Sunday, June 10. It features sculptures, large and small, in a wide variety of materials and mixed-media, both abstract and figurative.
Some pieces are attached to dark purple walls, while most sit atop white pedestals carefully placed around the airy, spacious, hardwood-floored gallery filled with spot lights on them for best effect.
Visitors (viewers) are able to walk freely among the pedestals, engaging the art from all angles/sides to truly experience how beautiful objects exist best in three dimensions. The “side” you’re on may effect your perception of that piece and how you feel about it. Enjoy this art exhibit “from all sides.”
Saturday, May 12, from 4 – 6 pm, a public reception with refreshments encourages visitors to share their thoughts and feelings about the displayed 3D artwork with the artists, in person.
