Basic Inferential Statistics Refresher
Jill Lohmeier, Associate Professor
College of Education
We will review some common basic inferential statistics. This is appropriate for those who have taken a statistics course, but may not have used some of the statistics for a while and need to use them now. We will review how to decide which analysis to use for basic research questions and what the statistics mean. This is an intermediate level workshop and will NOT cover advanced analyses. Correlation, simple linear regression, t-tests, ANOVA and Chi-square will be covered. This is probably most appropriate for graduate students in social sciences, although others are also welcome.
